"The best advice I ever got"

Recently I got an opportunity to flip through 100+ pages of the book titled “The best advice I ever got”. I would like to bring you some of the best line/advice/quote of the famous personalities those given in the book. Hope everyone will enjoy.
Here you go…

1. Satisfaction is death. We must never satisfy with what we have achieved. But continually strive to improve.
2. Be the change you want to see in the world. If I want others to follow, I must be prepared to go first.
3. There are always two paths you could travel. One is ordinary and comfortable path and another one is very challenging one. But you must always take up the later path. Because, the challenging path will take you to the destination whereas the comfortable path itself a destination.
4. Believe in the present and do justice to it. Instead of pondering over the past and trying to argument what went wrong. It is always better to concentrate on the work to be done at present and try to do the best.
5. One should strive to do one’s duty to the best of one’s ability but not worry about the result as they are never fully in one’s hand.
6. Result matters, not efforts. Hard work is nullified if not accompanied by the result.
7. Just don’t deviate from your plan of action. Continue to doing the right thing, the way you are doing now. One day the world will notice it.
8. Whichever decision will give you peace of mind and help you go to sleep peacefully is the right decision.
9. If you let others to decide for yourself, you will reach nowhere.
10. Ears have twice the surface area of the mouth. We have only one mouth against two ears. So, it is better to listen 4 times as much you speak.

Reservation system in India. What need to change?.

Reservation system in India. What need to change?.

         say-no-to-reservation.jpg
Couples of decades back the time India got Independence, many people were working as coolies. Especially life of the schedule caste and schedule tribal people was so obnoxious. So, Govt of India had planned to introduce “Reservation” system in educational institutions, govt jobs etc. We can’t assure all these SC and ST folks were utilized this facility. But be pretty sure some bunch of people had been well effectively absorbed this scheme and uplift their life and finally attained a decent status in the society.

Many of us aware that our Indian govt rules are flexible and can be changed at any point of time for the people’s welfare. Now in 2010 almost 64 years have been passed, still we are following the same rule, where this reservation rule affects many number of people. Am not finding any fault with SC and ST people. Yes, still too many people in these SC and ST category yet to develop and don’t had have access education. This is not only applicable just for SC and ST people. Even to other people.

IIM-A graduate also an entrepreneur from slum dwelling place Food King CEO Sarath rightly pointed about reservation is” you might be poor when you was young. When you was studied or got a job using your reservation quota, then afterwards you make your life better one and can offer many things to your children, wife, parents which your parents couldn’t offer you because of poverty. The time you developed yourself you should not let your children’s to use the reservation quota also should not get any scholarship from govt. Give a chance to other people who wish to develop”.
Govt body of India should sit and negotiate about the various aspects of changing the basic law of reservation quota. Many reserved people are getting rich more; in parallel, many non reserved people are getting poor in our country. Instead of amending reservation just based on the caste, we should take Person’s actual financial status, family member’s education as some parameters to give reservation.
Seriously am not blaming any individuals who enjoying the reservation scheme.

This is highly right time to think and stand together to make every India to get a good life. Read this blog twice a time and think of it. You will come to know what the entire things we need to change.
